Visitors to Lake Tawakoni State Park in Texas were stunned and amazed when they saw a colossal spider web covering several large trees.

Arachnologists and entomologists believe that the web may have been created as a result of spider ballooning. This event occurs when young spiders expel several strands of silk and use them to drift through the air.

This large web may have been formed by millions of spiders ballooning during the same time.
