Temporal Lobes

Friday April 7, 2006
The cerebral cortex is the outermost layer of the cerebrum. It is divided into four main lobes or regions. The temporal lobes make up one of these regions.

The temporal lobes are positioned in front of the occipital lobes.

Functions of the temporal lobes include controlling hearing, memory, and emotional responses.
