Q&A
Racing Pylons

Where can I buy pylons

From: BRIANRICKMAN
If you want something to mark the corners of your practice track, here's an easy and cheap solution:

Buy a package of disposable plastic drinking cups. I found them in bright yellow, bright green, and a few other colors at a local store. Cost about $0.80 for 30 or so. Place something heavy in a cup (clean cat litter, sand, fish tank gravel, or whatever you have laying around). Place a second cup on top of the first, upside down. Glue the two cups together with CA, goop, or whatever plastic safe glue you have handy. You could even use duct tape :). Repeat for as many corner markers as you need. You should be able to make a substantial set in under 30 minutes. Total cost should be under $5, even if you have to buy a bag of cat litter and some glue.

I've found that these markers are easy to see and quite tough. The cups will (sometimes) crack if you hit them at full speed, but if that happens, they are cheap and easy to replace.
