Bio-Medical Schools

In a previous feature, Bio-Grad Programs, the top fifteen or so biology graduate programs in the United States were listed. Many readers found the information invaluable and quite a few asked if I could provide similar information for medical schools. I know that many of you biology majors are particularly interested in putting your degrees to good use in the medical field, so here goes!

I've listed the top U.S. medical schools in alphabetical order. Obviously, publications rate the programs differently, but the following programs turn up consistently in the rankings:

Baylor College of Medicine

Case Western Reserve University

Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons

Cornell University

Johns Hopkins University

Stanford University
