Vision Screening Device Detects Diabetes

Friday July 18, 2008
Isn't it nice to be able to accomplish multiple things at once?

Just imagine going to the eye doctor for a vision screening and while you are there, you can find out if you are at risk for diabetes.

Yes, that's right, scientists have designed a vision screening instrument that can detect eye damage that is associated with diabetes.

In fact, this device detects a particular type of tissue damage that occurs even before the initial symptoms of diabetes.

The screening is non-invasive and involves taking a photograph of the eyes.

yeah this is awesome… but my question is “After finding the specific tissue damage which is very initial symptom than general initial symptoms of Diabetes, is that can be curable fast compared to curable duration (now a days)?”
