Circulatory System

Friday February 15, 2008
The circulatory system is responsible for transporting nutrients throughout the body. It is also responsible for the removal of wastes.

Organs of this system include the heart, lungs, blood, and blood vessels.

The circulatory system is composed of three main circuits. They are the pulmonary circuit (lungs), the coronary circuit (heart), and the systemic circuit (the rest of the body).
