Different Types of Proteins

By December 27, 2007

Follow me on:

Proteins are very important molecules in our cells. They are involved in virtually all cell functions.

All proteins however are not the same. Each protein within the body has a specific function.

Antibodies are proteins that defend the body from germs. Enzymes are proteins that speed up chemical reactions.

Some proteins are involved in structural support, while others are involved in bodily movement.

To learn more about proteins, see Protein Function.

I’m curious to find out what blog platform you have been working with? I’m having some small security issues with my latest website and I’d like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any solutions?
