Stages of Meiosis: Prophase II

Meiosis is a two-part cell division process in organisms that sexually reproduce.

In prophase II of meiosis, the nuclear membrane and nuclei break up while the spindle network appears.

Chromosomes do not replicate any further in this phase of meiosis.

At the end of prophase II, the chromosomes begin migrating to the metaphase II plate.

thanks for making this meiosis section..
it helps biology student majors like me. I have a hard time distinguishing meiosis from mitosis especially under a microscope. please add more articles regarding mitosis and meiosis.. thank you..
