The parietal lobes are one of the four main lobes or regions of the cerebral cortex.
The parietal lobes are located superiorly to the occipital lobes and posteriorly to the central sulcus (fissure) and frontal lobes.
Functions of the parietal lobes include controlling speech, information processing, and cognition.
